Progressive Lifestyles, Inc. is incredibly honored to accept the ARC of Oakland County 2022 Dove Award for Provider of the Year
Such an amazing way to show our caregivers that they make a difference!
On March 18, 2022, the ARC of Oakland held their 51st Annual Dove Awards program and selected Progressive Lifestyles, Inc. as Provider of the Year.

Here's her acceptance speech:
I am incredibly honored to accept this award on behalf of the amazing team at Progressive Lifestyles. I’m continually amazed by the dedication, creativity, and sincere affection for the people we serve that is demonstrated by our caregivers, leadership, volunteers, and board members.
I truly believe that a team is at its best when each person feels safe and valued enough to open their hearts and bring their own unique set of gifts and vulnerabilities to the table to accomplish the shared vision. When it comes to helping the people we serve to stay safe while continuing to promote connection and engagement during a pandemic, our culture of gentleness became even more essential.
Each and every person on the team had to keep on showing up with every ounce of commitment and stamina that they could muster, despite living in fear for their own health and that of their families. And then in moments when their reserves came up empty, they had to reach out to join arms with their colleagues and keep on marching forward. No matter what obstacle has come their way, they know that when it comes to the health, safety, and quality of life of the individuals we serve, failure is simply not an option. We also can’t waiver in our commitment to recognizing and celebrating the beautiful diversity that every member of our community adds to the greater whole.
Today, I’m grateful not only for the kind recognition of Progressive Lifestyles’ hard work but also for the knowledge that we walk this path alongside so many excellent organizations that are bringing their own unique contributions to the effort. I thank you all for your support and can’t wait to see the bright future that lies ahead.
